This is the 24th Sunday after Pentecost and we read from Matthew 25:1-13 of the importance of having an abundant supply of oil to fill the lamps that light the way. Where do we get this oil? From acts of justice, mercy, and faith. This will enable us to shine the light of God's love into the world.
