"I will give you as a light" - reading from Isaiah 49:1-7 we find God instructing the prophet that he will be a light to the nations instead of just to Israel. We find that 2500 years have not been enough to turn the hearts of the nations to God. It falls to us to carry on the mission and ministry of bearing God's light to people everywhere. We remember our covenant.
