It is Transfiguration Sunday and we are reading from Matthew 17:1-9. Jesus reveals through his transfiguration that he is continuing the process of leading God's people in service to and with others. As we approach the start of the season of Lent, we are asked to search our lives for how we are following Jesus. He calls us not to worship him but to follow him.
