Today is the Third Sunday of Advent and we read a familiar prophecy from Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11. Isaiah speaks to the people in bondage, Jesus speaks to the synagogue in Nazareth, and we heard the message of hope again for our time. May we find reason for joy this year.
