It is the 2nd Sunday of Easter and we read from John 20:19-31. I propose that we give Thomas a promotion to "Hero" because he provides the needed confirmation that Jesus is, indeed, risen. Now we do not have to doubt but can affirm to all that God loves us and has given us the assurance of life eternal.
